Not enough sun, and therefore not enough Vitamin D just isn’t a good thing! Vitamin D deficiency is associated with diminished muscle function, bone loss, and fractures. If you don’t take a vitamin supplement, sun exposure is usually the best source of vitamin D! Athletic performance peaks when Vitamin D levels peak.
