Protein is THE most important nutrient in your diet. Our hair, skin, bones and muscles are all made up of protein. If you replace carbohydrate with protein, you’ll lose body fat, gain or maintain lean body mass, and just plain look better! Eat 1 gram of protein per pound of your body weight daily, also try to space your meals out so that you eat 6 times a day, every three hours. The best protein sources are meats, fish, and milk-based protein. And remember, the best time to consume your protein is immediately AFTER training! Drink that protein! xo meg liz
